Qualifications:
- Valid Vermont Professional Teaching License with one of the following endorsements: Special Educator, Special Education Consulting Teacher, or Intensive Special Education Teacher
- Experience supporting students with executive function needs, Autism, severe behaviors, and/or learning disabilities is highly valued
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to innovate within team-based educational environments
- Must complete fingerprinting (recently approved prints from another assignment are acceptable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve 35 hours per week during the 2026-2027 academic year (19 August 2026 - 14 June 2027)
- For high school: collaborate with a pioneering team on a new pilot program, supporting students with varied executive and behavioral needs, preparing them for independent living and employment
- For elementary: work within a strong team to support learners with high-functioning Autism and learning disabilities, partnering closely with PT/OT staff
