Qualifications:
- Valid Alaska Type A Teaching Certificate required
- Endorsements in Special Education and Elementary Education
- Previous experience in elementary and/or special education classrooms is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction to elementary students in general and special education settings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s learning requirements
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure comprehensive supports
- Monitor progress, modify instructional strategies, and provide timely feedback to students and guardians
- Uphold state and school policies related to confidentiality and educational best practices
- Advocate for students’ needs and encourage their academic, social, and emotional growth
