Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience teaching at the high school level preferred
- Ability to create and adapt lesson plans for students with varying needs
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities
- Passion for fostering inclusive, engaging learning environments
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver daily instruction and accommodations to meet IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals to maximize classroom support
- Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and fellow educators
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Contribute to IEP meetings and coordinate supports as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Create a classroom where each student feels empowered to succeed
