Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Intervention Specialist licensure preferred
- Previous experience in special education settings is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP creation and implementation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to various student needs and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings with families and school staff
- Deliver specially designed instruction (SDI) tailored to each student’s goals
- Monitor progress and maintain detailed, timely progress reporting
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom culture
- Serve as a liaison between families, support staff, and other educators
