Desired qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching license (no Teachers for Tomorrow certificates)
- Experience working with mild to severe disabilities, autism, preschool populations, or emotional disturbance is highly valued
- Flexibility to work onsite across diverse school environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to engaging students and adapting instruction to unique needs
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering differentiated instruction tailored to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with fellow educators, specialists, and families to support student growth
- Creating positive, inclusive classroom environments
- Tracking and reporting on student progress and outcomes
- Participating in IEP meetings and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Advocating for student needs and celebrating their achievements
With a full-time, school-based schedule of 37.5 hours each week, you’ll have dedicated time to focus on teaching, planning, and student connection.
