Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification in Special Education or eligibility for certification
- Experience teaching or supporting students with exceptional needs, preferably at the middle school level

- Ability to design and implement individualized academic modifications
- Proficiency in using visual supports and structured routines to foster student success
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt lessons for a self-contained classroom to facilitate access to the general education curriculum
- Employ structured schedules, visual cues, and embedded language strategies to support student learning and independence
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed
