Currently, two distinct Special Education roles are available:
- A full-time Learning Services position at Northglenn Middle School (mild-moderate caseload, ages 5-21) from September 23 for seven weeks.
- A full-time opening at Rocky Top Middle School: either as a combined SSN (Significant Support Needs) Teacher and Learning Specialist, or in a focused part-time or full-time role. Assignments start ASAP and may extend through the end of the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Teacher License
- Special Education Generalist Endorsement (ages 5-21)
- Strong adaptability and commitment to inclusive practices
- Previous experience with mild-moderate or significant support needs preferred
- Willingness to obtain required fingerprint and background clearances
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with a range of exceptionalities
- Collaborate with school teams to design and implement IEPs
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and engaging classroom environment
- Communicate proactively with families and multidisciplinary staff
