Special Education Teacher | Troutman, North Carolina

Key Qualifications:
- Current EC Extended Content licensure required
- Experience teaching or supporting students in special education, preferably in grades K-3
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to individualize instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, daily instruction to a caseload of 5 students in grades K-3, utilizing evidence-based strategies tailored to their individual needs
- Develop, update, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance with all regulations and student growth
- Regularly track and report student progress, making data-driven decisions to adapt instructional approaches
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster inclusive and positive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
Position Details:
- Full-time contract, 40 hours and 5 days per week
- Assignment to a single school site
- Start date as soon as possible, with interviews available daily for flexible scheduling
