Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Active Special Education Certification for grades K-6 required
- Prior experience teaching or supporting upper elementary students preferred

- Ability to adapt instruction to a variety of learning needs and styles
- Organized and committed to documentation and compliance standards
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instructional support to a caseload of 10-12 students in 3rd to 6th grade
- Develop, update, and maintain IEPs in accordance with regulations and student progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
- Work closely with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers
- Monitor and document student progress; adjust plans as needed
- Participate in meetings with parents and multi-disciplinary teams for student planning
- Utilize resources and assistive technology to enhance student learning when appropriate
