Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid special education teaching certification
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in resource or elementary/middle school settings
- Skilled in developing IEPs and working collaboratively with support staff, families, and administration
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and assess IEPs for students on your caseload
- Create engaging, individualized instructional plans supporting diverse learners
- Partner with general education teachers and specialists for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain proactive communication with parents/guardians and staff
- Track and document student progress per district, state, and federal guidelines
