Special Education Teacher | Wallace, South Carolina

Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Teaching License required
- Certification in BOTH Special Education and Early Childhood Education for EC PCD Teacher (3-4yo) role
- SPED Multi-Cat endorsement needed for ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained K-3 role
- Prior experience in a school-based special education setting preferred
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Organizational skills and adaptability in dynamic academic environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized instruction to students with special needs in self-contained and early childhood classrooms
- Develop and implement effective, compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate regularly with support staff, administration, and families to promote student growth
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and required trainings
- Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment tailored to diverse learning styles
This contract runs from July 29, 2026, through May 27, 2027, at 37.5 hours per week onsite.
