Special Education Teacher - Warren, Michigan

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher

- Ability to manage caseloads ranging from 10-18 students, balancing direct instruction and compliance mandates
- Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs and student progress

Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the school’s Special Education Director, leading SPED initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Manage individualized instruction, goal setting, and progress assessment for a caseload of 10-18 students
- Support and mentor staff on best practices and new developments in special education service delivery
- Oversee the development, review, and execution of IEPs, providing guidance to ensure student needs are met
- Champion a positive, engaging, and adaptive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with administrators, educators, and families to promote student success
