ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified High School Special Education Teacher for a full-time position with Paul Public Charter Schools in Washington, DC for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity offers a chance to support high school students in a collaborative educational environment while making a meaningful impact on student growth and achievement.
Position Details:

- Mix of self-contained and co-teaching classroom settings
- No case management responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction based on student needs and goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Active or pending Washington, DC Special Education teaching license required
- Previous high school or school-based Special Education experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
