Special Education Teacher
We are partnering with Multiple school districts in the Washington, DC area that area searching for multiple Special Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. These are full-time opportunities in supportive environments focused on helping students reach their academic and developmental goals.
Qualifications:
Active D.C. Special Education teaching certification
Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs preferred
Strong ability to differentiate instruction and implement individualized supports
Experience in mild/moderate and/or moderate/severe settings preferred
Collaborative and flexible approach to working with staff and families
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide direct instruction and academic support to students
Monitor and document student progress in accordance with district requirements
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
Ensure compliance with all state and district special education guidelines

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.82 to $47.82. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
