Qualifications & Experience
- Active Connecticut Special Education Teacher License
- Additional certifications as required by state and school
- Experience with CT-SEDS platform strongly preferred
- Proven background in instructing and inspiring students requiring individualized education plans
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
Role Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to diverse learning needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district protocols
- Communicate consistently with families and support staff to maximize student progress
- Contribute to IEP meetings, progress reporting, and curriculum adaptations as needed
