What we’re seeking:
- Valid Special Education teaching credentials in Wisconsin
- Background in K-12 settings, including both self-contained and resource roles
- Demonstrated proficiency with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to confidently carry out all standard functions and duties of a Special Education Teacher
- Strong commitment to student growth, inclusive practices, and collaboration
- Energetic, positive attitude and growth mindset, with excellent work ethic
- Availability for a full-time contract assignment
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing lesson plans modified for diverse learners
- Conducting assessments and adapting instruction to meet individualized goals
- Managing and coordinating IEP meetings and compliance
- Collaborating with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development in a positive learning environment
