- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instructional materials and learning activities to accommodate varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's abilities and goals
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in both individual and group settings
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records, reporting on goals and objectives
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to provide effective support and interventions
- Utilize creative problem-solving and patience to manage classroom behavior and foster a supportive atmosphere
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to stay informed on best practices and legal compliance
