This is a full-time, onsite role with four current openings. Each position provides a supportive environment focused on student growth and achievement, starting August 24, 2026, and running through June 10, 2027.
You’ll deliver tailored instruction that meets current state and district standards, utilizing formative assessments and differentiated learning strategies. With your expertise, you’ll foster inclusive, effective classroom settings and drive positive outcomes for all students.
Qualifications:
- Active certification or licensure required for assigned caseload
- Bachelor’s degree necessary to obtain an emergency teaching permit
- Prior school-based experience is mandatory
- Mastery of Special Education subject matter and related instructional skills
- Ability to prepare comprehensive, standard-aligned lesson plans
- Strong classroom and behavioral management abilities
- Comfortable working in an urban district
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability
- Reliable transportation for onsite attendance
- Completion of all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Availability to work the contracted hours with no scheduling accommodations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with staff, families, and support teams
- Maintain a safe, positive classroom environment
- Utilize resources and best practices for Special Education

Role details:
- Four full-time openings:
- 1 Elementary school (8:30AM–4PM)
- 1 Middle school (8:30AM–4PM or 8AM–3:15PM)
- 2 High school (7:15AM–2:45PM)
- 35 hours per week
- Onsite only, with no flexible or remote options
