Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania certification in PK-4 and/or Special Education (emergency permits not accepted)
- Previous experience working with children with special education needs is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when collaborating with diverse educators, families, and community partners
- Ability to work effectively across multiple preschool settings within the local area
- Adaptable, organized, and passionate about early intervention
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct special education services to preschool children within community preschool environments
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students, tailoring instruction and support to individual needs
- Consult with preschool staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Travel between community preschools to provide ongoing support, evaluate progress, and document services
- Participate in required training and follow provided guidance for service delivery
- Maintain timely, accurate records according to program and state requirements
