Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Special Education teaching certification (emergency certificates are not accepted)
- Experience working in a school environment with students requiring individualized support
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and support staff
- Ability to create and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans for students with varying learning challenges
- Assess student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other professionals to ensure best outcomes for all students
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for compliance and communication purposes
