Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably elementary grades
- Strong background supporting students with social-emotional and behavioral needs
- Ability to deliver differentiated instruction and individualized interventions
- Excellent classroom management and collaborative skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct classroom instruction to students in grades 3–5 in a Social Emotional Behavior program
- Develop and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans tailored to each student
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to support academic, emotional, and social growth
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and parents/guardians
- Monitor progress, gather data, and adjust teaching approaches to maximize student success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student support planning
- Create a safe, engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages self-regulation and respect
Position Details:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Hours: 8:20 AM to 3:40 PM, Monday through Friday
- In-person only
