Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut Special Education (SPED) Teacher License and all required certifications
- Previous experience in a school-based special education setting
- Familiarity with CT-SEDS (Connecticut Special Education Data System) strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to diverse learning needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized instructional plans for students with special needs
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure optimal learning outcomes
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff for inclusive practices
- Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Foster a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in best practices
Assignment Details:

- 9/15–10/27
- 9/28–12/23
- 11/26–2/28
- Full-time positions, averaging 35 hours per week
- All positions are onsite within supportive school settings
