Special Education Teacher | Westland, Michigan

This contract position will provide opportunities to work with diverse caseloads in a dynamic educational environment located near Westland, MI.
These roles begin August 31, 2026, and run through June 4, 2027. Each assignment is full time, allowing you to work collaboratively with other educators and specialists while positively impacting students' learning journeys.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Active Michigan teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (must be submitted with your application)
- Previous experience or demonstrated readiness to teach in early learning elementary, middle school, or high school settings
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Commitment to individualized education plans (IEPs) and inclusive practices
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
