Required qualifications and experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate active by start date (emergency permits are supported by HR for qualified candidates)
- Experience or strong interest in Special Education, especially in Autistic Support or Learning Support settings
- Dedication to individualized instruction, inclusive classrooms, and collaborative teaching environments
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff
- Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to adapt to diverse learning needs
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general educators, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state requirements
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment
