You’ll work 35 hours per week, providing vital inclusion and resource support in a split position between a middle and a high school.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid North Carolina Teaching License for middle or high school levels
- Experience with inclusion/resource special education models preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach to changing needs
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and service providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction aligned with IEP goals
- Co-teach and support students in general education classrooms (inclusion)
- Develop and adapt instructional materials to meet diverse learners’ needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate on behavior intervention plans, and communicate regularly with families and staff
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
