ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to support students with moderate needs in a variety of small-group classroom settings for the 2026–2027 school year.

Location: Wilmington, DE
Position: Special Education Teacher
Grade Levels: K–12
Caseload: Approximately 15 students, including IEP responsibilities
Classrooms: Students are distributed across four classroom settings:
K–2
3–5
6–8
9–12
Setting: Primarily small-group instruction, with some classrooms consisting of a mix of general education and special education students
Student Population: Moderate needs
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Pay: $38–45/hour, depending on experience and licensure; subject to change
Qualifications
Valid Delaware Special Education teaching license required
Experience working with students with moderate support needs preferred
Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively across multiple grade levels and classroom settings
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction based on student IEP goals and needs
Support students in small-group and integrated classroom environments
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
Maintain accurate student documentation and progress data
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school staff
Adapt instruction and materials to meet individual student needs
