We are seeking three skilled professionals to fill the following roles:
- High School Focus Teacher (Inclusive Behavior Program): Support students whose behaviors are manageable with guidance, offering redirection and a peaceful workspace when needed.
- Elementary Inclusion/Resource Teacher: Collaborate with general education teachers, co-teaching and delivering adapted content in both mainstream and special education settings.
- Elementary and High School Alternate Curriculum Class (Lifeskills) Teacher: Deliver customized instruction and support for students with cognitive impairments requiring alternate academics.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification, or ability to obtain certification before the start date.
- Previous experience teaching in special education settings preferred.
- Strong skills in adapting curriculum and instructional methods for diverse learners.
- Ability to foster a positive, respectful learning environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families.
- Capacity for patience, flexibility, and solution-oriented thinking.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Modify lessons and assessments to meet student needs.
- Provide direct instruction and behavioral support as outlined in program roles.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, related services providers, and families.
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and participation.
- Promote inclusion and support students’ social and emotional growth.
