Step into a meaningful role supporting students' growth and achievement by providing specialized resource instruction for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering the chance to work in a vibrant educational setting supporting K-7 learners. We are seeking dedicated Special Education Resource Teachers to take on full-time roles, Monday through Friday, with hours ranging from 35 to 37.5 per week.
We're hiring for three important positions focused on key grade bands: Kindergarten Resource, Grades 1-2 Resource, and 7th Grade Resource/Case Managers. In-person engagement is essential to foster strong relationships and effective learning experiences. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Previous experience in resource or case management preferred
- Proven ability to support individualized learning plans for K-7 students
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with students, families, and educational teams
- Flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to professional growth
- Must be available to work on-site and interact directly with students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and interventions tailored to students with diverse learning needs
- Create, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication with families
- Provide case management and act as a primary resource contact for assigned grade levels
