Desired Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) teaching license with a math endorsement
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in K-12 settings
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and administration
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized math instruction to students with individualized education plans
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, adapting lessons to student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers for cohesive support
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Utilize differentiation strategies to ensure all learners can thrive academically and socially
Employment Details:
- Part-time contract, working 2 days per week
- Serving K-12 students in a supportive school community
