Key Details:
- Attend staff inservice on July 7, 2026
- Deliver instruction to students from July 8 to July 30, 2026, Monday through Thursday
- Summer hours: approximately 8:15 am–11:45 am
- Anticipated school-year hours for 2026-2027: 7:45 am–3:15 pm
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Pennsylvania
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with diverse student abilities
- Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Effective communication with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to collaborate and adapt in a school setting
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to student needs
- Create a supportive environment that encourages academic and social-emotional growth
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with related service providers, aides, and administrative staff
- Communicate regularly with families on student achievements and challenges
- Participate in team meetings, professional training, and inservice sessions
