As a Special Education resource teacher, you will:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to high school students with diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in alignment with student goals
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
- Maintain regular and open communication with families and school teams
- Participate in scheduled meetings and school activities, contributing to a positive school culture
- Work regular school hours, 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday
You will be assigned to a single high school campus, allowing you to build meaningful connections within the school community. The supportive administration values your input and encourages collaboration, while the focused caseload (approximately 20-25 students) ensures you have time to make a significant difference. Training opportunities and school-specific onboarding are provided to help you transition smoothly into your new role.
