Special Education Teacher | Andover, Minnesota

Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Hold an active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 only)
- Demonstrated experience or commitment to supporting students with autism or developmental needs
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Flexibility and creative problem-solving within a dynamic classroom setting
- Willingness to foster inclusive and positive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction for elementary students within the Ready, Set, Launch program
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring for each student
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
- Utilize evidence-based practices suited for students with diverse learning needs
- Build nurturing relationships that promote students’ independence and success
This full-time role begins August 31, 2026, and continues through June 10, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours/week). The position is based at a supportive and resource-rich elementary school.
