This assignment runs from November 1, 2026, through February 15, 2027. As a Special Education Teacher in a supportive cluster classroom, you’ll guide roughly 10 students alongside three skilled paraprofessionals. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credentials appropriate to Minnesota requirements
- Experience working with DCD (Developmental Cognitive Disabilities) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in a center-based classroom
- Comfort leading a team with paraprofessional collaboration
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Adaptability and an eagerness to immerse yourself in new settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Foster an inclusive, structured, and positive learning environment
- Oversee and collaborate with classroom paraprofessionals
- Monitor and document student progress toward goals
