Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Special Education teaching license in EBD, ASD, or ABS (Minnesota licensure required)
- Previous experience working with at-risk students at the secondary level
- Strong collaborative skills for effective teamwork with colleagues and support staff
- Expertise in behavior support and intervention strategies
- Ability to attach Minnesota teaching license and resume for application consideration
- Out of field licensure placement support may be available for qualified applicants
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support for students grades 9-12 within a community school setting
- Develop, implement, and adapt lesson plans and IEPs to address diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Apply evidence-based behavior intervention and classroom management techniques
- Engage in regular communication with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in school-wide initiatives that promote inclusive education and student engagement
- Utilize strong organizational skills to maintain effective documentation and progress reporting
