Multiple full-time positions are available working center-based and resource caseloads at elementary schools in the northern metro area. Start Date: September 8, 2026
End Date: June 10, 2027
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Placements Available:

  • Center-Based ASD/DCD (ASD or DCD endorsement required): 2.0 FTE at Birch Grove Elementary, 1.0 at Rice Lake Elementary, 1.0 at Zanewood Elementary
  • Center-Based SEL (EBD, ASD, or DCD endorsement): 1.0 FTE at Cedar Island Elementary
  • Resource (ABS, EBD, ASD, or DCD endorsement): 1.0 at Fair Oaks Elementary, 0.5 at Birch Grove Elementary, 0.5 at Basswood Elementary

Key Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Special Education Teacher (para, sub, or general ed teacher experience not applicable)
  • Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education licensure required
  • Licenses accepted: ASD, DCD, EBD, ABS
  • Proven record of supporting students in elementary settings with diverse needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specially designed instruction and uphold IEP goals in a supportive, student-centered environment
  • Collaborate with general educators, related service providers, and families
  • Create inclusive classroom settings that foster growth and independence
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal SPED guidelines
