What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities
- Experience working in specialized, center-based environments strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt instruction and develop individualized education plans for unique student needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, individualized instruction to students with developmental cognitive disabilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with customized IEP goals
- Monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with support staff, service providers, and parents to ensure comprehensive support
- Create a structured, supportive classroom setting that promotes engagement and growth
