Qualifications:
- Possession of a current Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 teaching certification (required for presentation)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD) caseloads
- Competence leading instruction and IEP management within a center-based classroom
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students in a center-based EBD program
- Collaborate with support staff and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Contribute to Monroe Elementary’s hands-on STEM curriculum and school initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and adapt strategies to meet varied needs
