In this onsite DCD Centerbase Special Education Teacher role, you’ll provide vital support to elementary students with developmental and cognitive delays in a supportive team setting. You’ll be exposed to innovative teaching methods, strong leadership, and collaborative multi-disciplinary teams—boosting your professional growth and broadening your educational impact.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required; must be submitted with resume)
- Licensure in Special Education
- Proven experience or passion for working with elementary-aged students with DCD
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for new environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction for elementary students with developmental and cognitive delays
- Develop and implement IEPs addressing students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including staff and families
- Monitor progress, maintain records, and communicate growth to stakeholders
