Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Teaching Certification (required; must submit with resume)
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably working with students with developmental cognitive disabilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassion and patience working with diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support for a caseload of approximately 9 students with DCD
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with staff, families, and support personnel to achieve student goals
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing progress assessments
- Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Work onsite, Monday through Friday, averaging 37.5 hours weekly (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
