Sunbelt Staffing is seeking Special Education Teachers for multiple full-time opportunities for the upcoming school year. There are openings across both elementary and high school settings, with priority needs in high school and 4th/5th grade classrooms.
Position Details

Available Positions
High School – Living and Learning Classroom
- Living and Learning classroom
- Caseload of approximately 17 students
- Provide specialized instruction and support based on individual student needs
4th/5th Grade – Resource Classroom
- Elementary resource classroom serving 4th and 5th grade students
- Provide special education support and instruction
- Teach ELA and Math in addition to special education responsibilities
Kindergarten – Mixed Population
- Kindergarten classroom with a mixed population of students and disabilities
- Provide individualized academic and behavioral support
- Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement specialized instruction aligned with student IEPs
- Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Implement accommodations and modifications as appropriate
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based meetings
- Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Appropriate Special Education teaching certification required
- Previous experience in a school-based special education setting preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work with students across a variety of abilities and needs
- Commitment to supporting student growth and success
