Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to better engage and support students and families.
- Minimum of one year of hands-on classroom teaching experience required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and demonstrate flexibility as a valuable member of a dynamic team.
- Current CDE license, or active steps toward obtaining one, is essential (unfortunately, temporary educator eligibility cannot be accepted).
- Willingness to provide a copy of your CDE license or verification (COOL) for consideration.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver special education services to a resource caseload within an elementary school environment.
- Design individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with families, school staff, and service providers.
- Support students with diverse learning needs, creating a balanced and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school planning initiatives.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, caregivers, and school personnel.
