Key Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to better engage and support students and families.
  • Minimum of one year of hands-on classroom teaching experience required.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and demonstrate flexibility as a valuable member of a dynamic team.
  • Current CDE license, or active steps toward obtaining one, is essential (unfortunately, temporary educator eligibility cannot be accepted).
  • Willingness to provide a copy of your CDE license or verification (COOL) for consideration.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Deliver special education services to a resource caseload within an elementary school environment.
  • Design individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with families, school staff, and service providers.
  • Support students with diverse learning needs, creating a balanced and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school planning initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, caregivers, and school personnel.
