Qualifications:
- Valid AL SPED certification required
- Previous experience with elementary age special education students preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to create inclusive, engaging learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Support and educate a caseload of 2nd and 3rd grade students, primarily within a general education LRE (01), with some students in LRE 03 environments
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track and report on student progress, adapting strategies as needed
- Foster a supportive, encouraging atmosphere for learners of all abilities
- Engage with families to promote student growth and achievement
