- Knowledge of current best practices in differentiated instruction, behavior management, and IEP development
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Design and adapt instructional plans to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to monitor student progress
- Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs in partnership with students, families, and staff
- Foster an inclusive classroom climate that promotes positive learning outcomes and engagement
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal education regulations
