Qualifications we’re seeking:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Valid Special Education (SPED) certification in Arizona
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Mild/Moderate or Cross-Categorical certification
- Previous experience supporting middle school students is preferred
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
- Deliver engaging instruction and adapt curriculum materials for multiple learning styles
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and specialists to foster student growth
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize learning outcomes
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide timely assessments, and maintain compliance with all special education regulations
