Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado DOE Teacher license
- Special Education Generalist (5-21) endorsement required
- Experience with emotional/behavioral disabilities, autism, ABA principles, FBA/BIP processes strongly preferred (for Affective Needs role)
- Familiarity with CPI and de-escalation strategies a plus
- Prior work implementing special education math instruction is beneficial
- Commitment to timely credentialing and completion of required district forms
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to a range of learning or affective needs
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and related service providers
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, FBAs, and BIPs as needed
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Participate in interviews with principals and student support teams to ensure a great fit
