Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Teaching License with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (highly preferred)
- Hands-on experience conducting comprehensive early childhood evaluations
- Skilled in Child Find evaluation processes and documentation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Flexibility to serve multiple locations and adapt to district needs
- Ability to complete district-required contractor credentialing in a timely manner
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct bilingual Child Find evaluations at district-wide locations, primarily at North Star Elementary and Centennial Elementary
- Provide expert assessment and evaluation for Early Childhood Special Education students
- Participate actively within the district’s evaluation team to determine eligibility and recommend appropriate services and interventions
- Maintain detailed, compliant records and confidential reports
- Engage in collaborative team meetings with school psychologists and other professionals
- Travel between assigned schools and sites as needed throughout the week
