Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license with Early Childhood Special Education (SPED) endorsement
- Fluent bilingual skills essential for conducting comprehensive evaluations
- Experience in early childhood special education, child find processes, or school psychology
- Familiarity with assessment and evaluation of children ages preschool to early elementary
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct bilingual child find evaluations at North Star Elementary, Centennial Elementary, and district-level sites as needed
- Participate as a member of a district-wide evaluation team to identify supports for young children with unique needs
- Complete all documentation and processes in a timely, organized manner
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and school staff to ensure optimal outcomes for every student evaluated
- Maintain compliance with district and state requirements for special education assessment and reporting
