Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License with an Early Childhood Special Education endorsement
- Bilingual proficiency, with the ability to conduct comprehensive child find evaluations in both English and another language
- Experience working with early childhood populations in special education or as a school psychologist
- Capacity to manage a flexible caseload across two or more school sites, including participation in district-level initiatives
- Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competency skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct bilingual child find assessments at North Star Elementary, Centennial Elementary, and additional district locations as needed
- Provide high-quality, compliant evaluations to support identification and placement of early childhood students with special needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and district personnel to develop individualized education plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and meet all state, district, and legal reporting requirements
- Complete time-sensitive credentialing and onboarding tasks prior to the assignment start
