Special Education Teacher in Aurora, CO

There are multiple openings to match your experience and interests:
- Elementary Special Education position (15-20 student caseload)
- High School Special Education position (15-20 student caseload)
- Middle School Center-based position (4 student caseload)
Most of the services provided are push-in, enabling you to work closely with general education teachers and provide targeted support within the classroom setting.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license or eligibility in Colorado
- Previous special education teaching experience, preferably in a school setting
- Ability to manage and adapt to diverse caseloads
- Strong collaboration skills with faculty, families, and support staff
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Passion for providing individualized instruction and support
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students’ unique learning needs
- Deliver push-in and resource services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support academic and behavioral growth
- Maintain accurate and timely progress reports and documentation
- Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
