Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Current state-issued Special Education teaching certification
- Endorsement suited to elementary grade levels and/or SPED requirements
- Demonstrated background with intervention, IEP writing, progress monitoring, and elementary special education preferred
- Strong communication skills, with readiness to collaborate across disciplines
- Ability to tailor interventions, monitor student progress, and meticulously document services provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver specialized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP
- Implement accommodations, modifications, and interventions to meet diverse learning needs
- Track student growth, maintaining thorough documentation to support ongoing evaluation
- Foster partnerships with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service staff, and families
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and student support planning
